JLAPBC INSTALLS HEATHER GREENHILL STOHLMAN AS PRESIDENT, HONORS GARY LESSER

Jewish Lawyers Association of Palm Beach County Board of Directors for 2026-2027

The Jewish Lawyers Association of Palm Beach County Board of Directors was installed September 9, with 2026-2027 President Heather Greenhill Stohlman, center-left, and Immediate Past President Gary S. Lesser, center-right. Lesser served as president of The Florida Bar in 2022-2023.

The Jewish Lawyers Association of Palm Beach County recently installed Heather Greenhill Stohlman as president for the 2026-2027 term, and honored JLAPBC Founding President Gary S. Lesser for two years of leadership.

The leadership transition was celebrated September 9 during JLAPBC’s Installation and Reception, which included the swearing in of the organization’s executive board and board of directors.

Stohlman presented Lesser with the inaugural Tzedek Award, recognizing his contributions to establishing the organization in 2024. Lesser will continue to serve as immediate past president.

“Building this organization alongside Heather and other outstanding leaders has been a tremendous honor,” said Lesser, a former Florida Bar president and managing partner of Lesser, Landy, Smith and Siegel – Florida Injury Lawyers. “We created JLAPBC to unite Jewish attorneys, judges, and allies and ensure our legal community has a strong, collective voice standing against antisemitism and hatred. Heather has been an essential part of that work and I know the organization will continue to grow under her leadership.”

Stohlman served as executive vice president during Lesser’s tenure and helped run some of the organization's most successful programs, including the Unity Passover Seder, which brought the legal community together to celebrate Jewish tradition and freedom.

“It is an honor to step into this role and build on the strong foundation Gary and the board have accomplished,” said Stohlman, managing partner of Greenhill Stohlman. “I look forward to creating more opportunities for our members to connect and expanding JLAPBC’s impact within the legal profession and throughout our community.”
