Seasonal Closures: The Sea Tow Foundation Life Jacket Loaner Station at Culpepper Landing and the Hunter Park Splash Pad

WASHINGTON COUNTY, FLA. - The Washington County BOCC would like to inform residents and visitors that the Sea Tow Foundation Life Jacket Loaner Station at Culpepper Landing (3081 Culpepper Lane, Vernon, Florida 32462) and the Splash Pad located at Hunter Park (3193 Moss Hill Road, Vernon, Florida 32462) will close for the season on September 29, 2026.

This seasonal closure will allow for routine maintenance and preparation during the cooler months. Both amenities are expected to reopen in Spring 2027, providing residents and visitors with continued opportunities to enjoy our local parks and waterways.

The Sea Tow Foundation Life Jacket Loaner Station serves as an important resource for promoting safe boating and ensuring that properly fitted life jackets are available to those who need them. We appreciate everyone who visited and helped make the 2026 season a success.

Thank you to our community and our visitors for helping us keep our parks, waterways, and families safe. We look forward to welcoming everyone back when these amenities reopen in Spring 2027.
